I am in love with the concept of storytelling, from the subtle elements in foreshadowing to giant Tolkien-esque battle scenes within such fantasies as Lord of the Rings or The Stormlight Archive.However, every ship that ever sailed the seven seas and every rocket ever to reach the vacuum of space has had a launchpad to blast off from. That's where you come in.Despite what the world teaches us, every story is a story worth telling. One does not simply claim credit for another's idea, after all. To explain this, allow me to tell a short tale to you...In 2013, a small French indie game studio by the name of DONTNOD Entertainment started to market their story to publishers to get it funded into a full-length game. They went to many a publisher, and the publishers agreed to fund their game, given one small edit. DONTNOD would be forced to change the gender of their main protagonist from a girl to a boy. They refused and scoured the globe for a publisher that could see their story for what it was. To this day Life is Strange maintains its fanbase and its community, still growing all these years later.This is your story.
